This happened for the first time in 16 years, when not even one of these 3 players will be a part of the test squad.
Bangladesh vs West Indies Test Series: The two-Test series between West Indies and Bangladesh will be played from November 22 and Bangladesh’s squad for this has been announced. The special thing is that due to injury, experienced batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has not been able to make a place in the squad. This will be the first time in 16 years that Bangladesh’s Test team does not include any of the three, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal or Mushfiqur Rahim. Bangladesh will enter the Test series without these three players.
Rahim’s finger is injured
Mushfiqur Rahim had performed well in the Test series against Pakistan and scored an inning of 194 runs in the first match. But he was suffering from shoulder injury since this series. Then he suffered a finger injury during the series against Afghanistan. For this reason he has been ruled out of the upcoming West Indies. On the other hand, Tamim Iqbal has not played any test match since last year. While star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan had announced his retirement after the Test in Kanpur, he did not go to Bangladesh to play his last Test.

Liton Das is back
Wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das has returned to the team for the Test series against West Indies. He had fever. For this reason, he could not play in the second Test against South Africa and three ODI matches against Afghanistan. Hasan Murad has also got a chance. He will take charge of the spin department along with vice-captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Taijul Islam.
The first test match will be held on 22 November
Bangladesh team will play its first match in Antigua from 22nd November. The second Test will start from November 30 in Jamaica. After this the visiting team will play a T20 series of three ODIs and the same number of matches. Bangladesh’s squad for limited overs has not been announced yet.
