Cuttack: The new born baby will not suffer for hunger in Balijatra. The historical Cuttack Balijatra 2024 is all set to have ‘breast feeding center’ for the convenience of newborns and their mothers. According to reports, the breast feeding centre shall be opened in the lower Balijatra ground inside the Palishree mela or the Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) enclosure.
The breast feeding centre shall be set up near Gate Number- 2 further reports added. The mothers and their babies who are lactating can avail the facilities while visiting the fare, said the Balijatra organizers. The Centre shall have places to sit and drinking water shall be available for the lactating mothers.
The Balijatra is said to be one of the largest open air fare in the whole of Asia. The fair is highly popular and sees people from all parts of the country both as visitors and as businesses also. It is slated to be held from November 15 and shall continue till November 22.
