On October 31, all the 10 IPL franchises announced the names of their retained players, after which the IPL Governing Council has also announced the dates of the mega auction, in which it will be held on November 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia. Will be held in the Arabian city of Jeddah. This time a total of 1574 players have registered their names for the IPL mega auction, out of which 1165 are Indian players.

48 capped Indian players will be part of the auction

In the information that has been officially released by the IPL, there are 48 Indian players for the Mega Player Auction who have made their debut in international cricket, which also includes big names like Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul. Apart from this, there are 152 Indian players who have not made their debut in international cricket but have made their debut in IPL. Apart from this, there are 965 Indian uncapped players who have not yet made their debut in IPL. In such a situation, a total of 1165 Indian players have registered their names to participate in the mega auction. Out of this, this list will now be handed over to all the franchises, after which a final list will be released just before the mega auction in which a decision will be taken on how many players will be bid.

272 capped players included out of 409 foreign players

This time, 409 players from 16 different countries have registered their names to participate in the IPL Mega Auction, out of which 272 players have already made their debut in international cricket. Apart from this, there are only 3 such players who were part of the last IPL but have not played a single match in international cricket till now. There are 104 uncapped foreign players included, who were neither a part of the IPL before nor have they made their debut in international cricket yet.
