The Govt. Is Monitoring The Whole Situation After Cyclone DANA: Odisha Disaster Management Minister

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is monitoring the situation. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari informed on Saturday that there was no flood situation after the storm. There have been reports of water logging in some areas.

Due to rain, water has risen in the Bubhabalanga river, the danger signal has not been issued. The government is monitoring the whole situation. The minister said that people will be a little worried until the rains subside.

The minister further said that the central team will come soon to assess the damage caused by the cyclone. Since yesterday, it has been raining and the work has been hampered. Families who lost their homes in the storm will stay in storm shelters. They will stay here until there is an alternative home.

The storm damage report will be sent to the center within the next 7 days.
