Durga Puja: Mahasaptami Puja in Pandals While Mahastami Shakti Peethas
Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The holy environment is filled with the devotion towards Maa Durga. Today is the Mahasaptami of Durga Puja in Puja Pandals, while in Shakti Peethas, the Mahastami Puja is being performed. The various puja pandals is shining with the sky touching gates with eye catching colourful lights.
Today, while Mahastami Puja is performed in various Shakti Peethas, Mahasapatami Puja is held in Mandapas. Spiritual and enthusiastic atmosphere everywhere. Extensive arrangements have been made for the puja in different pujamandapas of the state including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. In various mandaps of Cuttack, Goddess Durga’s idols are decorated in gold and silver ornaments.
In various puja mandaps in the temple city, tall towers are twinkling with lights. Strict security arrangements have been made in major mandaps like Nayapali, Shahidnagar, Jharpada, Rasulgarh, Barmunda, Station Bazar etc.
