Final Result Day: Who Will Form The Govt In Haryana and J&K?

Haryana/Jammu & Kashmir: The result battel has been started in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir between BJP and Congress. Today is the result day which will decide the fate of the leaders who convinced the voters the most.

The counting of votes for the Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections has been started from 8 am. The final results will be announced today. At first the postal ballots have counted. After the ballot the EVM counting is setting the trend.

This is significant as the assembly elections were held for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. Polling for the 90-seat Jammu and Kashmir Assembly was held on September 18, 25 and October 1. The National Conference (NC) and the Congress contested the elections there. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, major high profile leaders were actively involved in the election campaign. The overall voter turnout was 63.88 percent.

According to exit polls, there could be a hung assembly in Jammu and Kashmir. It was predicted that Congress-NC alliance will get maximum seats, while BJP, PDP and other parties is following after the leading party at the current status.

Polling for the 90-seat Haryana Assembly was held on October 5. There are hopes to form the government again after 10 years of BJP power. On the other hand, the Congress is aiming to return to power by capitalizing on the popularity of anti-government.

According to the exit polls, the Congress is going to get an absolute majority there, while the BJP will come second. It is based on the opinion of the voters returning to Booth, while the actual results will come after the counting of votes on Tuesday.
