Puri: The holy month of Kartika is ahead. Puri will be the full of Habishyali’s crowd. Keeping this in mind, the state government launched the Habishyali Yojana. Every year, the enthusiasts apply for it. The government arranges food and accommodation for the registered pilgrims. However, the application for this year will start from the 6th of next year. This was informed by Puri District Collector.
The Kartika month is commencing from 18th October. Ahead of that, the habisyali registration will be done starting from 6th October. Online registration for the same will continue till 11th October. This application will be accepted through online mode only. Aspirants can apply at http://edistrict.odisha.gov.in from 6th to 11th.
However, arrangements will be made at 4 places for the accommodation of around 2025 Habishyalies, said the District Magistrate.
