Bhubaneswar: A new terminal will be built at the Bhubaneswar airport. The Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu on Friday after reviewing the Bhubaneswar Airport and informed.
Now Bhubaneshwar Airport connects 20 cities of the country with 4 places abroad. The current terminal in Bhubaneswar has a capacity of 40 to 50 lakhs. It will increase to 80 lakh within the next year, informed the minister. This airport is connecting 20 cities in the country. Further demands are coming to connect other parts of the country. This will be discussed with the Ministry and decisions will be made, the minister further added.
The new terminal will be built next to the old terminal. The construction is planned for 2 years. Runway Cat II light will be built soon.
