Governor of Odisha Will resigned?
Raghubar Das will fight the election! After the visit to Delhi, the discussion grew.
Bhubaneswar: The Jharkhand assembly election is ahead. Vigorous campaigning has started since now. Even so, the Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi is on a 2-day visit to Jharkhand and is asking for votes for the BJP. Then there is another big news. Odisha Governor Raghubar Das may resign. Because Raghubar Das is well known as the OBC leader of Jharkhand. And most of the voters there are OBCs. He has also been the Chief Minister before this. So there is strong public support for Raghubar. Even BJP workers called Raghubar Das as their first choice. So again he might be a candidate in the general election.
On the other hand, Assam Chief Minister and BJP’s Jharkhand election in-charge Himant Biswa Sarma has already come to Odisha and met Raghubar. On the other hand, after Raghubar’s departure to Delhi, this discussion has increased even more in the political circles. BJP is trying hard to form the government in Jharkhand. According to the plan, the tribal leader and former Chief Minister Champai Soren has shifted to BJP few days back. So, if necessary, the Delhi leadership of BJP can ask Raghubar Das to resign from the post of governor to form the government in Jharkhand. However, no information has been received from the BJP officially.
