Bus Accident in Nepal: All 40 Passengers Fell Into The River, 14 Died

Nepal: An Indian passenger bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu, Nepal has crashed on Friday. The bus number is reportedly UP-53-FT-7623 has fallen into Marsanggadi river. As a result, 14 people were killed and rest were injured.

According to sources, while staying at the Majheri Resort in Pokhara, the Indian travelers started their journey to Kathmandu by bus this morning. It fell into the Marsanggadi River near Abukhaireni. To inspect the whole situation SDM Maharajganj was sent to the spot. The bus belonged to Kesarwani Transport of Gorakhpur district which had gone to Nepal with passengers from Maharashtra.

People had gone to Nepal after visiting Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Gorakhnath. In this trip 3 buses of Kesarwani Transport were booked from which onw got accident. A group of 110 passengers from Maharashtra was on a Nepal trip including those 40 passengers to face this bus tragedy. In this serious environment UP Relief Commissioner’s Office in touch with Nepal officials to operate the rescue operation.
