Bhubaneswar:The second phase of the Assembly budget session is begin from Tuesday. This session will end on September 13. The Appropriation Bill will be taken up on September 10.
The session began on July 22. In the first phase of the session, the state government presented the budget for the financial year 2024-25 along with the election of the Deputy Speaker.
Along with this, the opposition BJD and the Congress caused a lot of trouble in the assembly in the incident of beating up the ASO by the governor’s son. Lord Balabhadra falling from the chariot, deaths due to road accidents, traffic jams, riding on non-maintained vehicles
The opposition and the ruling party clashed over the issue. The second phase of the session is also expected to be active on various issues.
