BSKY Will Continue In the State: Health Minister 

Bhubaneswar: What will be the future of BSKY, the state’s largest health insurance scheme? This was the common question raised by the BSKY holders to the Majhi govt in the state. But now the Health Minister has clearly informed, that this service will continue till next month for the beneficiaries. After that, Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Health Card will be available.

On July 30, the assembly approved the grant of writing for 2 months. The Appropriation Bill will be passed on September 10. After that, everyone will get Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Card. According to the information available from the Health Department website, there are 3 crore 56 lakh BSKY card holders. They are getting free treatment in 9 thousand 509 hospitals. 8 thousand 530 government and 979 private hospitals are affiliated. 

Now the question arises, what will change after the Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Health Card? Will the card logo change? The amount of assistance may also vary. The design of the card may also change. With this, discussions have started about whether Ayushman Yojana and Gopabandhu Yojana will be run together or separately.
