Puri: Today’s darshan of Lord Jagannath will be closed for 4 hours. Due to the Chitalagi rituals of deities, the general visit to temple is restricted. After the completion of the first vog mandap, Sridevi and Bhudevi will visit the Khatsheja house from Ratna Singhasana, then after following the other respective rituals the Jayavijaya door will be closed.
After performing the Patimahapatra servant reformation, the tenant couple will perform the Chitalagi function of deities established in the Ratna Singhasana. On the day of the procession, Mahaprabhu was enshrined in Sol Chita. Today, this Sol Cheetah will be oiled and studded with gems. After completing the Chitalagi rituals, the deities will be given a great bath.
However, since it is a secret, public viewing will be closed from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, said the administration of the temple. After the rituals devotees will be allowed after 6 pm.
