By 9 am, there was 608.73 feet of water in Hirakud Reservoir. 1 lakh 30 thousand cusecs of water is stored in Hirakud Dam and the same amount is being drained.
Similarly, if it rains for another two to three days, then measures will be taken based on the situation, said Bhakti Ranjan Mohanty, the top engineer of the water resources department.
