Kolkata, Oct 26 : Harakali Protiher, Bengal BJP MLA from Katulpur Assembly constituency in Bankura, joined the Trinamool Congress on Thursday.
Taking to X, the Trinamool said, “Today, in the presence of Nat’l GS Shri Abhishek Banerjee, Harakali Protiher, BJP Bengal MLA from Katulpur Assembly constituency, Bankura, joined hands with us. ”
“This move reflects a resounding commitment to serving the people and strengthening the unwavering ideals of Ma, Mati, and Manush (mother, land and people – Trinamool Chief Mamata Banerjee’s pet slogan),” the party added.
“We wholeheartedly welcome him to the Trinamool Congress family, ” the party stated.
