Srinagar, Oct 22 : Army on Sunday paid rich tributes to an Agniveer who lost his life in the line of duty at the world’s highest battlefield of Siachen glacier in Ladakh.
The Agniveer has been identified as Operator Gawate Akshay Laxman.
“All ranks of Fire and Fury Corps salute the supreme sacrifice of (Operator) Gawate Akshay Laxman, in the line of duty, in the unforgiving heights of Siachen and offer deepest condolences to the family”, Army said.
