Bhubaneswar, Jul 11 : Corona virus infection is on the decline in the state. Covid-19 positivity rate has now dropped to 3 percent. In 29 districts, the positive rate is below 5 percent. With the exception of four coastal districts, the other districts are under control. The situation is likely to deteriorate if people do not stick to Covid rules.
In Maharashtra and Kerala, Covid-19 infections have risen and new mutants have emerged. The third wave of the corona is expected by October. The state health department is keeping a close eye on people coming to Odisha from these two states. The state government is focusing on the training, testing and treatment of people coming from there.
