Simlipal National park reopens for tourists in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: The Simlipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district was reopened for tourists on Saturday.
The park was closed for around five months for the tourists due to the monsoon.

Sources said every day 35 four-wheelers through Kaliani gate and 25 four-wheelers through Pithabata gate will be allowed entry into the park from 6 AM to 9 AM.

The tourists are asked to leave the park through Barehipani and Jaranda by 3 PM and Chahala by 4 PM.

The authorities have declared the park plastic free and advised the tourists not to take plastic bottles, non-vegetarian food and intoxicants into the park.
