Four killed, 2 critically hurt in two separate road accidents in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: Four persons wer killed and two critically injured in two separate road accidents in Cuttack and Kalahandi district on Saturday.
In the first accident, three class X students were killed when the bike they were riding collided head- on with a van near Ranasankha village under Banki Police station of Cuttack district.
The students were returning from Chakuleswar village after attending their tuition when the accident occurred.
After the accident, local people rushed all the three to Banki hospital. However, the doctor declared two of them dead. The third student was shifted to SCB Medical College and hospital ,Cuttack but he died while undergoing treatment, sources said.
In the second incident one girl was killed and her mother and uncle critically injured while a truck hit their scooter from behind while they were returning to their village Dulakibandh under Kalampur police station of Kalahandi district.
The accident occurred when the victims were returning after attending the Shraddha function of one of their relatives.
