Joe on Puri sands : Sand sculpture at Puri beach to welcome US President Joe Biden for G20 summit
Puri (Odisha), Sep 6 : Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created sand sculpture by installing 2000 diya to welcome US President Joe Biden for the G20 summit.
The sand sculputure created by the sand artist at Puri beach read with the message “Welcome to Bharat “.
Sudarsan has created a 6ft high sand sculpture of Joe Biden and a logo of G20 by using around 2000 mud diya.
He said about 5 tons of sand used in this sculpture and students of his sand art Institute joined hands to complete the sand sculpture.
The sand artist said “we always welcome our guests with diya aarti, so I have created this sculpture by using Diya , to welcome the U.S President.
Sudarsan had in the past also created a sand sculpture of US President Joe Biden when he had won the presidential election.
So far, Padma Shree awardee sand artist had participated in more than 65 International sand art competitions and festivals around the World and won many prizes for the country.
