After Moon, ISRO getting ready for Aditya-L1 Sun Mission
Chennai, Aug 14: After the third moon mission Chandrayaan-3, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is getting ready for the launch of Aditya-L1 Solar Exploratory mission to study the Sun, from the spaceport of Sriharikota.
ISRO will be using its reliable and workhorse launch vehicle PSLV for the Sun mission.
ISRO on Monday said “PSLV-C57/Aditya-L1 Mission: Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun is getting ready
for the launch.”
The satellite was realised at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC),
Bengaluru and has arrived at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota, it said, in
an update on the Sun mission.
