Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday reorganized the state Cabinet and allocated portfolios to the Ministers.
The Chief Minister kept the portfolios of Home and Finance with him. Urban Development will remain with Shanti Dhariwal only. The portfolios of many old ministers have also not been changed, including Mamta Bhupesh and Pramod Jain Bhaya. The new Education and Art and Culture Minister will be Dr. B. D. Kalla, while the Medical Department has been entrusted to Parsadi Lal Meena.
Mahesh Joshi will be the Minister of Water supply, while Pratap Singh has been given the Ministry of Food by taking Transport from Khachariawas. Similarly, Ramesh Meena has been chosen as the new Panchayati Raj Minister, Hemaram was chosen the Forest and Environment, Ramlal Jat was given the Revenue Ministry. Tikaram Julie was given Social Justice, Govind Ram Disaster and Management, while Mahendrajit Singh Malviya got irrigation, Shakuntala Rawat has been given industry.
Rajendra Yadav was allotted Higher Education, while Energy (independent charge) went to Bhanwar Singh Bhati, Minister of State for Home was given to Subhash Garg (technical education), Labour (independent charge) went to Sukhram Vishnoi, Transport to Brijendra Ola, Road Safety (Independent Charge), Agriculture Marketing, State (Independent Charge) to Murarilal Meena and Rajendra Singh Gudha has been given the responsibility of Sainik Welfare, Home Guard and Civil Defence (Independent Charge) to Pareek Jora.
