Bhubaneswar, June 12: Three persons were arrested by the STF of Odisha police for possessing 161 kg of ganja during a raid on Sunday.
STF sources here on Monday said on the basis of intelligence input, a team of STF conducted raid with the help of Angul district police at Chandrapur against illegal storage and sell of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended. During search Ganja more than 161 kg and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from their possession.
A case has been registered on the report of STF at Athamalik Police Station for necessary legal action.
Sources said since 2020, STF has seized more than 69 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin, 202 gms Cocaine and more than 115 quintals of Ganja/Marijuna, Opium 750 gram and arrested more than 172 drug dealers/peddlers.
