One Dead, Another Missing In Sea Near Aryapali In Odisha
Berhampur: A girl student died while another went missing while taking bath in the sea near Aryapali at Chhatrapur in Odisha’s ganjam district on Thursday morning.
According to reports, one among them is allegedly dead and the other one is missing. The accident occurred while taking a bath in the sea in Aryapally block of Ganjam district.
The deceased student has been identified as Swapna Rani Pandit of Konishi area and Guduly Mishra of Shergarh has been identified as the missing student.
According to reports, five friends had gone to the sea at 7 am today to take bath near Aryapalli village. While they were enjoying together in the seawater, were swept away by a strong sea tide.
The villagers managed to rescue four girls from the water, of them one was declared dead at Chhatrapur Sub-Divisional Hospital.
The rescue operation is underway to trace another girl, who went missing in the sea.
