Heat Wave In Odisha For Next Five Days: IMD issues Yellow Warning; Details Here
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued issued a yellow warning for heatwave next three days in Odisha.
There will be no major change in the maximum (day) temperature in Odisha during the next three days. However, the maximum temperature is likely to rise by two to four degree Celsius with heat wave in parts of the state on May 16 and 17.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 14.05.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 15.05.2023)Â Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur.

Yellow Warning:Â Heat wave is very likely to prevail at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Angul.
