Real Life ‘Vivah’? Woman has accident before wedding, groom-to-be is there on every step of recovery; Wins Internet
A true partner is one who stands by you through thick and thin and nothing sums up the true meaning of a partnership, remember the 2006 Shahid Kapoor-Amrita Rao blockbuster ‘Vivah’? A seemingly real-life version of it played out in Uttar Pradesh.
Recently, an obstetric physiotherapist named Shatakshi met with a major accident days before her wedding. The woman’s journey to recovery and how her partner Prateek constantly supported her throughout is going viral on the internet.
They were to be engaged and then married soon when the former met with an accident. But that did not affect their relationship in any way. Rather, it made their bond stronger. Throughout her time in the hospital, Prateek was always by her side. He even donated blood when there was a need and visited Shatakshi at the hospital every day.
The incident took place in the Kunda in UP’s Pratapgarh, where a young girl, dressing up for her marriage, met with an accident that led to severe disability.
As the bride-to-be, Aarti was getting ready for her marriage, she tumbled down a staircase while trying to save a child. She suffered a severe spinal injury and was rushed to a private hospital in Prayagraj. The doctors informed her family members that Aarti may have to be confined to bed for several months and may even end up disabled.
Satakshi, who is a physiotherapist, shared their beautiful love story on her Instagram handle. She shared a video montage where she added pictures of Prateek and her. Two months after her accident, the plaster was removed and the two got engaged. Almost after a month, they were married. She also shared a glimpse of their wedding ceremony. The clip shows Prateek lifting Satakshi during the pheras.
“Hello everyone! We are elated with the love & blessings that you have given us in the previous reel. Here is our story..I hope this is sufficient to reduce the curiosity,” the video caption reads.
