Team India will play a total of 3 matches during the league stage. All the matches of the Indian team will be played in Dubai. Amidst all this, the Indian cricket team has made a big mistake. Due to which they may have to lose even the Champions Trophy title. Team India has made this mistake with Bumrah. This mistake made with Team India’s star player Jasprit Bumrah can harm Team India.
Pressure created on Bumrah
Team India has won many matches in the recent past on the strength of Bumrah. No one can ignore his performance in the T20 World Cup, but the Indian team seems to be putting too much pressure on Bumrah. Even if we look at Bumrah’s performance in the Test series played against Australia on one side and the bowling of entire Team India on the other side, Bumrah will be seen dominating everything. Whenever Team India needed a wicket against Australia, the captain handed over the bowling to Bumrah, but by the last match of the series, Bumrah was completely tired and had to leave the field with an injury.
Jasprit Bumrah has bowled a total of 151.2 overs against Australia. Due to which his body was completely tired. Due to long spells and reliance on him for wickets, his injury has once again come to the fore. Due to back pain during the last Test match, Bumrah had to go out for a scan midway through the match. Apart from this, he did not bowl a single over in the second innings of the match. It is clear from this that many mistakes have been made in Bumrah’s workload management.
Champions Trophy is near
Champions Trophy 2025 is very close and Bumrah’s injury can cause loss for Team India. Although no specific update has come from the BCCI regarding his injury yet, but if Bumrah is not fit again for the Champions Trophy, it will be a big blow for Team India. Team India currently does not have any bowler who can replace Bumrah. In such a situation, the prayer of the entire country will be that Bumrah becomes fit somehow.
