African team had made a big score

Batting first, South Africa scored a mountain-like score of 615 runs. Ryan Rickelton, Temba Bavuma and Kyle Warren scored centuries for the team. Rickelton scored a double century and played an innings of 259 runs. Mohammad Abbas and Salman Ali Aga took 3-3 wickets for Pakistan. But apart from these two, other bowlers proved to be miserable flops.

South Africa had a lead of 421 runs

After the poor performance of the bowlers, the batsmen also could not show their strength in the first innings for Pakistan. Only Babar Azam scored a half-century and scored 58 runs. Pakistani team was able to score 184 runs in the first innings. After this Pakistan was forced to play follow on. Because Africa had got a lead of 421 runs.

But in the second, Pakistani batsmen performed well and scored 478 runs. Shan Masood scored a century and scored 145 runs for the team. He made a partnership of 205 runs while opening with Babar Azam (81 runs). Salman Ali Aga scored 48 runs. Mohammad Rizwan contributed 41 runs. It was because of these players that the Pakistani team was able to avoid innings defeat and was successful in giving the target of 58 runs to South Africa. But Africa chased this target easily.
