Trees Uprooted; Power Outages Disrupted Due To Kalabaisakhi Rain

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorms, rain and wind are causing extensive damage due to Kalabaisakhi Rain. Damage has been witnessed in various districts of the state due to the effect of Kalabaisakhi rain. On Friday, most of the districts including Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khordha, etc. received heavy rain. Trees were uprooted in many places and crops were damaged. Power outages have also been affected in many areas due to thunderstorms and wind. In some places, incidents related to Kalabaisakhi have been seen. However, according to the information issued by the Meteorological Department, this situation will continue till the 25th.
