Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extends warm greetings on the occasion of Diwali

Bhubaneswar, October 20 : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali, the holy festival of light and joy. On this auspicious occasion, he issued a video message and extended his greetings to all the brothers and sisters of the state.

The Chief Minister said: “Diwali is not just a festival of light, it is a symbol of knowledge, hope, faith and determination. The light of knowledge cuts through the darkness of ignorance and saves humanity. This Diwali, we take steps towards a new future with new hopes, new dreams and new goals.”

He further said that Diwali inspires us to walk on the path of truth and justice, replacing the darkness of untruth and injustice with light. This festival is a day of kindness, forgiveness, love and faith in humanity. The Chief Minister has called upon the people of the state to celebrate a pollution-free, green and safe Diwali.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister encouraged people to abandon arrogance and egotism and develop human values.

On the occasion of this holy Diwali, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu also greeted the countrymen and prayed for peace, prosperity and unity of the country.

May Diwali be a messenger of light, joy and a new beginning for all of us.
