From Tragedy to Forgiveness: Erica Kirk’s Bold Stand After Husband’s Death
Wasington DC, Sept 22 : The murder of Charlie Kirk, a close associate of US President Donald Trump, recently shook America. Last Sunday, his wife, Erica Kirk, made a statement that shocked everyone.
Delivering a deeply religious speech at a memorial service for her late husband, Erica Kirk declared that she forgives the man accused of his murder. Speaking at a memorial service in Arizona, Erica Kirk said, “My husband, Charlie, wanted to save young people just like the man who took his life.” More than 60,000 people attended the event, which was attended by President Donald Trump himself.
Growing emotional, Erica Kirk said, “That man, that young man. I forgive him.” She further added, “I forgive him because that’s what Jesus Christ did, and so would Charlie.” She added, “Hate is not the answer to hate.” It’s worth noting that 31-year-old Charlie Kirk was murdered on September 10th during a public debate on the University of Utah campus. The attacker shot him in the neck from a distance. This murder shocked America.
A few days after the murder, authorities arrested the suspected attacker, Tyler Robinson. According to investigators, the attacker justified the attack by accusing Kirk of inciting hatred.
