
Bhubaneswar: Big news for home guard aspirants. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has informed about the creation of 2500 home guard posts in Odisha. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the proposal for the creation of 2500 home guard posts in Odisha today.
Currently there are 17,675 home guard posts in the state. Following the creation of 2500 posts the total number of posts will rise to 20,175. The Chief Minister has earlier announced that about 12,000 posts will be created in various branches of the state police department in order to strengthen the law-and-order situation in the state.
