Balasore: Senior BJD leader Anant Das took his last breath. Former MLA and former minister Anant Das have passed away. Information has been given by the family regarding his death. Anant was elected to the Assembly four times from Bhograi constituency and became a public representative. He was elected as a member of the Assembly from 2004 to 2024. At the time of his death, he was 85 years old. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Leader of the Opposition or BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik have expressed condolences on hearing the news of his demise.
