
Bhubaneswar: To streamline and strengthen the traffic and road safety system in the state, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the creation of 2,000 new posts in the state’s traffic department.
As per the Chief Minister’s decision, 70 new posts have been created in the state-level traffic department, while 1930 posts have been created in the district-level set-up.
ADGP/IGP one post, DIG (Police) one post, SP 2 posts, DSP 4 posts, Inspector 6 posts, SI 8 posts, ASI 8 posts, Constable 22 posts, Driver 10 posts, Establishment Officer 1 post, Section Officer 1 post, ASO 3 posts and Junior Assistant 3 posts have been created in the state-level set-up in Odisha traffic department.
Likewise, DSP 5 posts, Inspector 41 posts, Sub-Inspector 83 posts, ASI 83 posts, Havildar 310 posts and Constable 1408 posts have been created in the district-level set-up in Odisha traffic department.
