CM Mohan Charan Majhi Congratulates Successful Candidates of Odisha Civil Services Exam 2023

 

Bhubaneswar, Sept 26 : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the successful candidates of the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination 2023. In a message shared on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister praised the achievers and wished them a bright and impactful career in public administration.

“Administrative service is a matter of great pride and plays a vital role in the development of the state,” the Chief Minister stated. He further expressed hope that the newly selected officers would work with honesty, impartiality, and a people-centric approach to contribute to grassroots development in Odisha. “May your future career be bright and your professional life filled with success and accomplishments,” he added.

The long-awaited results of the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023 have been officially declared. Conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), the exam saw 398 candidates being selected for various administrative positions in the state government. Among the successful candidates, 144 are women, reflecting a significant and encouraging representation.

Priyanshu Pal secured the top rank in the examination, while only one female candidate made it to the top 10 list. The top 10 successful candidates of OCS 2023 are:

These individuals have demonstrated exceptional merit and resilience throughout the rigorous selection process and now stand at the threshold of promising careers in public service.

The Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023 was conducted in multiple phases. The main written examination was held on April 19, 20, 22, 24, 27 and May 15, 2025. Candidates who qualified the main exam proceeded to the final stage – the Personality Test, conducted on September 6 and 18, 2025.

Following the interviews, the OPSC finalized the list of 398 successful candidates who will now undergo training and placement in various administrative roles across Odisha.

The Odisha Civil Services offer a critical platform for young, dynamic, and capable individuals to participate in the governance and development of the state. With their new responsibilities, the selected candidates are expected to bring efficiency, innovation, and transparency to the administrative machinery.
