Tilak Verma broke Virat Kohli’s great record, did wonders by scoring 2 centuries in a series.

Tilak Varma Century: The Indian team defeated South Africa by 135 runs in the fourth T20 match. In this match, every move of Team India was absolutely correct. After winning the toss, captain Surya decided to bat first, which proved to be right. Thanks to the centuries of Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma, the Indian team was successful in scoring 283 runs. Both of them batted in a way that will be remembered for a long time. Both these players made a partnership of 210 runs for the second wicket, which is the biggest partnership for any wicket in T20 International cricket for India.

Scored the second century of T20I career

Tilak Verma came to bat at number three in the fourth T20 match against South Africa. He scored 120 runs in 47 balls, hitting 9 fours and 10 sixes. This is his second century in T20 International cricket. He has become the fifth Indian overall to score centuries in two consecutive matches in T20Is. Before him, Gustav McCon, Riley Rousseau, Phil Salt, Sanju Samson have done this. Now Tilak has equaled these batsmen.

Left Kohli behind

After scoring a century, Tilak Verma has now become the highest run-scorer for the Indian team in a T20 bilateral series. He broke the record of Indian team’s superstar batsman Virat Kohli. Tilak has scored a total of 280 runs including two centuries in the T20 bilateral series against Africa. Whereas Kohli had scored a total of 231 runs in the T20 bilateral series against England in the year 2021. Now Tilak has gone far ahead of him.

Tilak Verma has become the third fastest batsman to score a century in T20 International for the Indian team. He scored a century against South Africa in just 41 balls. Rohit Sharma holds the record for scoring the fastest century in T20 International for Team India. He scored a century in 35 balls against Sri Lanka in the year 2017.
