After bowling out South Africa’s first innings at a score of 358 runs, the Sri Lankan team had scored 242 runs at the loss of three wickets in its first innings at the end of the second day’s play, in which Angelo Mathews scored 40 and Kamendu Mendis scored 30 runs. Was batting unbeaten. Apart from this, Pathum Nissanka scored an inning of 89 runs while Dinesh Chandimal also managed to score an inning of 44 runs.
