Shikhar Dhawan’s magic will be seen again, now he will play cricket for this neighboring country
Former Indian cricket team opener Shikhar Dhawan has taken retirement. He said goodbye to cricket this year. However, he is still seen playing in the T20 league of retired players. Recently he participated in Legends League Cricket i.e. LLC 2024 whose final match was played in Srinagar. After this tournament, Shikhar Dhawan is eager to play in the T20 league once again. The interesting thing is that this time he is going to be a part of such a league which will be organized in the neighboring country of India. Now you might be thinking that we are talking about Lanka Premier League or Bangladesh Premier League. If you are thinking like this then your guess is not correct.
Actually, Shikhar Dhawan will be seen playing in the league of Nepal and not Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. Its official announcement has also been made. Nepal Premier League (NPL) franchise Karnali Yaks has roped in former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan for the upcoming edition. 38 year old Dhawan will be the fourth foreign player for Karnali. Earlier, the franchise has also included Chadwick Walton of West Indies, Hussain Talat of Pakistan and Babar Hayat of Hong Kong in its team.
