PV Sindhu made her place in the final of Syed Modi Badminton Tournament.

India’s star badminton player PV Sindhu has seen a one-sided performance so far in the Syed Modi International Super 300 badminton tournament, in which she has confirmed her place in the finals. PV Sindhu has confirmed her place for the title match by defeating compatriot Unnati Hooda in two consecutive sets in the women’s singles semi-final match. In this match which lasted for 36 minutes, Sindhu had won the first set by 21-12 and the second set by 21-9.

Unnat could not stand in front of Sindhu’s excellent game

PV Sindhu’s complete dominance was seen in the semi-final match of women’s singles in which she did not give any chance to Unnati to make any comeback in both the sets. During this time, many mistakes were seen from Unnati under pressure, of which Sindhu took full advantage and won both the sets with a huge lead. Sindhu was very happy with her victory and after the match said that she was satisfied with her performance and I also tried to play some strokes which were quite correct. I think Unnati did her best but I didn’t give her any chance. I maintained the lead from start to finish. Now I have to concentrate on preparing for the final match tomorrow because it will not be an easy match.

Will compete with players from China or Thailand in the final

While PV Sindhu confirmed her place in the final match of women’s singles, here she will face the winner of the second semi-final between Thailand’s Lalinrat Chaiwan and China’s Luo Yu Wu. Apart from Sindhu, in the mixed doubles event, India’s pair of Tanisha Crasto and Dhruv Kapila secured their place for the title match by defeating China’s Xie Hong Zhou and Jia Yi Yang in the semi-final match.
