Pakistan came to its senses after India’s action, now Champions Trophy will go to these cities instead of PoK

This time Pakistan has been selected for the Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan is also preparing very fast for this tournament. But BCCI has clearly told ICC that it will not allow Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy. ICC has also informed Pakistan Cricket Board about this. However, PCB has asked ICC to seek written reasons from India. Due to this, ICC has not yet released the schedule of the Champions Trophy. It is believed that the tournament can be played in hybrid model. Meanwhile, Pakistan had committed such an act due to which India had to take immediate action.

India had expressed objection

It was announced by Pakistan Cricket Board on the evening of 14th November that the Champions Trophy will reach Islamabad on 14th November. After this, the trophy will be taken across Pakistan from 16th November to 24th November. PCB had given information regarding this matter on its social media. Where he has told that the trophy will go to places like Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Of these four places, only Mari is a part of Pakistan. Apart from this, three other places Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad fall in PoK.

Trophy will go to these cities of Pakistan

India did not like this decision of Pakistan. After which BCCI raised objection and ICC has taken immediate action on this. Now the Champions Trophy tour will not go to PoK. ICC has selected new cities for this. In which the trophy will tour Islamabad on 16 November, Taxila and Khanpur on 17 November, Abbottabad on 18 November, Muri on 19 November, Nathia Gali on 20 November, and Karachi from 22 to 25 November. After this the trophy will be taken to Afghanistan. This time, no city of PoK is included in the new cities selected by ICC.
