Champions Trophy 2025 is to be organized in Pakistan next year in which the Indian cricket team has refused to set foot on Pakistani soil to participate. This big decision has been taken by BCCI after not getting permission from the Government of India. In such a situation, a sword is hanging over the organization of Champions Trophy. Meanwhile, another shocking news is coming out for Pakistan. In fact, after Team India, the Indian blind cricket team has also refused to go to Pakistan. This team was to participate in the T20 World Cup to be held in Pakistan but the Indian government did not allow the team to go to Pakistan due to security concerns. The national federation gave this information on 19 November.

To participate in this tournament to be held in Pakistan from November 23 to December 3, the Indian team had to cross the Wagah border on Wednesday. The Indian Blind Cricket Team had received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Sports Ministry to participate in the tournament but could not get approval from the Ministry of External Affairs.

Did not get permission to go to Pakistan

Indian Blind Cricket Association (IBCA) general secretary Shailendra Yadav told PTI that he has been informed informally that the blind cricket team will not be allowed to go to Pakistan. His team was to go to Wagah border tomorrow. But no approval has been received from the ministry officials yet. So he is a little disappointed.

Yadav said that if he had been given timely information, he would have been saved from the process of selecting the team through selection trials. Yadav said that they are saying that when the mainstream cricket team is not safe then how can you be safe there. Of course he will accept the decision but why was the decision kept till the last moment. Why were they not told a month or 25 days in advance? There is a process. Pakistan Blind Cricket Council had made it clear last week whether India should send its team to Pakistan for the World Cup or not but this competition will take place on time only. It won’t make any difference.
