IND vs AUS: Will have to sacrifice sleep for Boxing Day Test, match will start at a different time

India vs Australia Melbourne Test Timing: These days, there is a lot of buzz about Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 on Australian soil. The 5-match Test series between India and host Australia started from 22 November. The Indian team played the first Test match in the absence of Rohit Sharma and defeated Australia by 295 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. After the victory in the Perth Test, India reached Adelaide to play the second Test match but could not stand against the pink ball in the day-night Test match. In this match, Australia made a brilliant comeback and won by 10 wickets and leveled the series at 1-1. After this, both the teams faced each other in the Gabba Test but the match was drawn due to rain. Now the fourth Test match of the series is to be played in Melbourne, for which both the teams are busy preparing.

All three test matches took place at different times

Till now, all the three Test matches played in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy had started at different times and now the fourth Test match will also start at a changed time. The first Test match in Perth started at 7.50 am Indian time. After this, the second test match in Adelaide started at 9.30 am Indian time. After this, the third Test match to be played at Gabba started at 5.50 am. However, due to rain, the next 4 days of play started at 5:20 am IST, which was earlier scheduled to start at 5:50 am, to compensate for the overs of the first day.

Toss will take place before 5 pm on the first day

After the first three Test matches, now fans will have to wake up early in the morning to watch the fourth Test match. However, this time the fans will have to wake up a little earlier because the fourth Test match to be played in Melbourne will start at exactly 5 am Indian time. On the first day, the toss will take place exactly half an hour before this i.e. at 4.30 pm. For the rest of the day, the match will start directly at 5 o’clock. The last and 5th test of the series will also be played at the same time.
