Test series is being played between India and Australia. Rishabh Pant could not do anything special during the second match of this series, but even today Australia will remember all the innings of Rishabh Pant which he played in Australia during the last two tours. Former Australian great player former head coach Justin Langer has admitted that Pant still scares him. However, he is happy that Pant is playing for his team in IPL.

Langer faced a lot of trouble from Pant during the India tour of 2018/19 and 2020/21, as Pant troubled the Australian bowlers many times. But now that Pant has been bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL auction, Langer hopes that he will become good friends with them now.

Langer said this

During a Test match, Langer said that Pant troubled me a lot in the last two series. Now a week ago, I am happy that Lucknow bought him, now he is my friend. After Pant was released by Delhi Capitals, LSG bought him for Rs 20.75 crore, thus making Pant the most expensive player in the IPL. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer was bought for Rs 26.75 crore.

Pant could not do anything special

Pant played some good shots while batting, but Australian captain Pat Cummins dismissed him for 21 runs. Pant hit two fours in 35 balls, but could not last long. India won the toss and batted first and scored 180 runs. India’s 6 wickets had fallen at 109 runs, but due to the bravery of Nitish Reddy and R Ashwin, the team was able to reach 180 runs. After this, the Australian team came out to bat where by the end of the day they had scored 86 runs losing only one wicket.
