The next match of the series will be played in Melbourne on 26 December. While Team India would like to take the lead with a win, but it is not going to be an easy task for them. Amidst all this, a bad news has come out for the Indian team. Team India’s star player KL Rahul has got injured before the fourth test match. Which is a bad news for the Indian team.

KL Rahul injured

Team India is practicing in Melbourne before the fourth match to be played against Australia. While batting in the nets during the practice session, he got hit by the ball in his hand. After which the physio of Team India treated him. While practicing, he got injured in his right hand and he looked quite upset. After which he was seen asking for help from the physio. No specific information has been given by the team management and BCCI on the seriousness of his injury, but if this injury is major and KL Rahul misses the fourth match, then it will be a big blow for Team India.

KL Rahul is in great form

In a video that surfaced on social media, Rahul was seen holding his right hand during treatment. Rahul has been in form on the current tour, scoring 235 runs in six innings at an average of 47. This brilliant right-handed batsman has scored two half-centuries so far and in the third match he played a brilliant inning of 84 runs. Although he could not score a century in that match, but due to his innings, Team India was saved from follow on in that match and the Indian team could draw that match.
