To strengthen its hold in the Pink Ball Test, the Indian team played a two-day practice match against Australia’s Prime Minister’s XI. Where the Indian team defeated Minister XI in a one-sided manner. Team India won this match by 6 wickets.

How was the match?

The first day of the practice match played between India vs Minister XI was washed out due to rain. Due to which the match was played with some new rules on the second day. Where both the teams got a chance to bat 46-46 overs. Whichever team scores the most runs wins. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss in this match and decided to bowl first. After which the team of Prime Minister XI came on the field to bat first. His team was all out on the score of 240 runs in 43.2 overs.

After this the Indian team came out to bat. Team India batted for 46 overs and scored 257 runs losing 5 wickets. India’s score was higher than Australia. Due to which Team India was declared the winner of this match. With this, India also won the trophy after the match. Team India will play the Pink Ball Test match against Australia on 06 December.

These players were the heroes of victory

Two players played a very important role in Team India’s victory. These two players are none other than Shubman Gill and Harshit Rana. Both these players performed amazingly in this match. Harshit Rana’s bowling in the first innings of the match was amazing. In the first innings of the match, Rana took 4 wickets for 44 runs in 6 overs. After this, Shubman scored a half-century in the second innings of the match. Gill scored 50 runs on 62 balls in this match. On the other hand, Jaiswal also played an inning of 45 runs. There will be high expectations from these players in the test match starting from 6th December.
