India vs Australia 4th Test Match: The Border-Gavaskar Trophy of five test matches is being played between India and Australia. Three matches have been played in the series and currently the series is tied at 1-1. The Indian team won the first match by 295 runs. After this, the Australian team made a comeback and won the second test by 10 wickets. The third match was washed out due to rain and the test match was a draw. Now the series has reached the historic ground of Melbourne and the fourth match will be held from 26th December. But before this a lot of water has already flowed in Ganga-Jamuna. Star Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has taken retirement and BCCI has selected Tanush Kotian as his replacement. After this upheaval, it remains to be seen what the playing eleven of Team India will be like in the fourth test match.

Rahul and Jaiswal can open

Young Yashasvi Jaiswal and experienced KL Rahul have taken over the responsibility of opening in the first three Test matches against Australia. In the first test, Yashasvi played an inning of 161 runs and led Team India to victory. Whereas Rahul batted well. But Jaiswal has flopped in the second and third tests and has not scored runs from his bat. Whereas Rahul had scored 84 runs in the third test match. In such a situation, both these players can be seen opening in the fourth test match.

Rishabh Pant may get the responsibility of wicketkeeper

Shubman Gill has failed to play big innings so far on the Australia tour and is struggling with poor form. So far he has played innings of 30, 28 and 1 run. But the team management can give him another chance and he can be seen playing at number three. It seems almost certain that superstar batsman Virat Kohli will be at number four. Once he settles on the crease, it becomes difficult to get him out. The responsibility of wicketkeeper can be handed over to Rishabh Pant. Whereas captain Rohit Sharma can land at number-6.

Bumrah’s role will be important

Jasprit Bumrah can be seen carrying the responsibility of the fast bowling attack. He is in excellent form and has bowled amazingly in the series. In the first test, he led India to victory by taking 8 wickets. In the third test, he took a total of 9 wickets. Indian cricket fans will once again be expecting a good performance from him. To support him, Prasidh Krishna may get a chance in place of Mohammad Siraj in the team. Because Siraj has not been able to perform as per his name. On the other hand, Akash Deep was effective in the third match. In such a situation, he may get another chance. Nitish Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja can be given all-round roles.

Team India’s probable playing 11 for the fourth test:

Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Nitish Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Prasidh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep.
