IND vs AUS: Indian bowlers started the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in great style. In the first Test match played in Perth, the Indian bowlers did not allow the Australian batsmen to play freely at all. The result was that India registered a historic win by 295 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the 5-match series. However, the Indian bowlers could not maintain their rhythm in Adelaide, due to which Team India had to pay the heavy defeat by 10 wickets. In this way Australia was successful in making a comeback in the series. Now the series is tied at 1-1 and both the teams have a great opportunity to take the lead through the third test match.

The third Test match between India and Australia will be played at Gabba, Brisbane. In this match, all eyes will be on the fast bowlers because the Gabba pitch is known for its tremendous bounce and pace. Meanwhile, Indian bowlers have received great advice from the legendary Australian cricketer. This veteran cricketer told the Indian bowlers how to dismiss the Australian batsmen?

India got Hayden’s support

Former Australian opener Matthew Hayden has advised the Indian bowlers to target the fourth, fifth stump line and take advantage of the natural bounce provided by the Gabba pitch to dismiss the Australian batsmen in the third Test. Hayden told Star Sports that whenever India gets a chance to bowl, they will have to rely a little more on the fourth and fifth stump lines. And most importantly, they need to use their bounce.

Hayden said that this is an important thing for the fast bowling unit in Brisbane. The red ball is certainly more familiar in Test match cricket. Australia has the skill to play with the pink ball, they have won many matches with it. He further said that India should bat better in Gabba, they should bat for maximum time. He should bat in one day of Test match cricket. Less than one day is not acceptable. A score of 350 should be in mind. India should bat first even when there are challenging conditions.
