However, soon after this he started bowling and completed his over. After this, Bumrah bowled three more overs. Morkel said in the press conference after the match that first of all Bumrah is fine, it was just cramps. Yes, because after that, you know, he bowled and you got two wickets.

Bumrah took 4 wickets

The Indian star pacer took 4 wickets for 61 runs in the first innings, as India bowled out Australia for 337 runs. During this, Bumrah made Australian openers Nathan McSweeney (39), Steve Smith (2), Pat Cummins (12) and Usman Khawaja (13) his victims. Bumrah took eight wickets during India’s 295-run win in the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar series played in Perth.
