ICC announced nominations for Player of the Month for the month of October.
International Cricket Council i.e. ICC has announced the names of three players to be nominated for Player of the Month for the month of October. All three of them have shown excellent performance in Test cricket, one of which is the Pakistani team spinner Nauman Ali, who showed excellent performance with the ball against England. While the second name is that of fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, who performed wonders with the ball in the Test series against Bangladesh, apart from this, the third name is included who performed wonders with the ball in the Bengaluru Test in the recently concluded three-match Test series between India and New Zealand. Mitchell Santner’s name is included.
Noman took 20 wickets in the test series against England
Nauman Ali played an important role with the ball in helping Pakistan win the three-match Test series against England 2-1, taking a total of 20 wickets at an average of 13.85. While Ali took a total of 11 wickets in the second test, he managed to take 9 wickets in the last test. Apart from this, Nauman also played an important inning of 45 runs with the bat in the last Test match, on the basis of which the Pakistani team was able to take a lead of 77 runs in the first innings in the Rawalpindi Test.
Rabada played an important role in the first test series win in Bangladesh
The South African team was on a tour of Bangladesh in the month of October where they played a 2-match Test series against the host team and managed to win it 2-0. In this victory of the African team, fast bowler Kagiso Rabada played the biggest role, who took a total of 14 wickets at an average of only 9 even on a pitch which was helpful for the spin of Bangladesh, in which he also took 5 wickets in the innings twice. The second match of this Test series was played on the ground of Pune, in which Kiwi team’s left arm spinner Mitchell Santner was amazing with the ball, who also took 5 wickets in both the innings and also gave the best bowling performance of his Test career. . Santner took a total of 13 wickets at an average of 12.07 in both the innings of the Pune Test.
