AUS vs PAK ODI Series: Pakistan cricket team has achieved a big feat on Australian soil. Pakistan performed a big miracle by winning the first ODI series in Australia after 22 years by winning the 3-match ODI series 2-1. In the third ODI match played in Perth, Pakistan won by 8 wickets and won the first ODI series on Australian soil since 2002. You will be surprised to know that Pakistan has won a bilateral series on Australian soil for only the second time in international cricket i.e. all three formats. For the first time, Pakistan had achieved a great feat by winning the ODI series 2-1 in Australia in the year 2002.

Pakistan had to face defeat by 2 wickets in the 3-match ODI series. After this, Pakistan made a strong counterattack and won the second ODI match at Adelaide Oval by 9 wickets. In this match, Haris Rauf played an important role in bowling Australia out for just 163 runs. Haris took 5 wickets in this match. After this, in the third ODI, Haris Rauf lost 2 batsmen while giving only 24 runs in 7 overs. For this brilliant bowling he was awarded the Player of the Match award. Apart from this, he was also chosen Player of the Series for taking 10 wickets in the series. With this he created history.
Haris Rauf repeated the great feat of Pakistan’s legendary bowler Shoaib Akhtar by winning the Player of the Series. Actually, Haris Rauf has become the second Pakistani bowler after Shoaib Akhtar to win the Player of the Series award in the ODI series against Australia on Australian soil. Earlier, Shoaib Akhtar had achieved this feat in the year 2002.
